Product description
The CPR Uni-padz™ electrodes, exclusively compatible with the ZOLL AED 3® defibrillator, have an exceptional five-year lifespan and can be applied to both adult and pediatric patients, eliminating the need for two separate electrode sets.
The ZOLL AED 3's color LCD display shows graphics matching the shape and colors of the electrodes, aiding correct placement on adults and children.
By properly positioning the electrodes and activating the pediatric mode on the ZOLL AED 3, the defibrillator can be used to treat pediatric patients aged 8 years or younger or weighing less than 25 kg.
CPR Uni-padz come pre-connected to the ZOLL AED 3 for rapid deployment. The CPR reference device includes guidance for correct hand placement and provides ZOLL's exclusive Real CPR Help® feedback.
Real CPR Help
CPR compressions are often performed at incorrect rates and depths. Adult victims require 100 to 120 compressions per minute at a depth between 5 and 6 cm. Proper compressions ensure adequate blood and oxygen flow.
The ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator instantly converts compression data from the CPR Uni-padz electrodes and provides real-time voice, text, and visual feedback to assist rescuers in maintaining correct compression rate and depth. It instructs the rescuer to "push harder" if compressions are too shallow or encourages with "good compressions" when depth meets guidelines.
It also displays compression depth in real time via a bar meter on the color monitor, allowing immediate correction if needed.
Everything needed for rescue
CPR Uni-padz electrodes include a protective CPR mask, scissors, disposable gloves, a razor, a drape, and a moist towelette.
*Compression depth feedback is disabled in pediatric mode. Compression depth guidelines for pediatric patients vary depending on the child's size.
