Its hybrid construction makes it perfect for all situations: breathable when pushing uphill, warm and protective against wind and snow on the descent. The Noorvik pants leave nothing to chance, developed and designed with a body mapping concept that uses different fabrics and padding according to the needs of various body parts. The result is a two-layer fabric on the front leg applied over brushed lycra that also makes up the back of the pants, combined with a 3L 10K/10K fabric. The two-layer WR (Water Repellent) fabric protects against wind and snow especially during descent, keeping the leg warm, while the brushed lycra provides extreme elasticity and freedom of movement and ensures high breathability during intense uphill efforts. The leg hem is made with a 3-layer ripstop fabric, as it is the part most exposed to abrasion from crampons and blades and most in contact with snow or ice. The high performance in waterproofing (10,000 mm water column) and breathability (10,000 g/m²/24h) of this fabric, combined with a gusseted opening at the leg hem with gripped elastic, prevents snow, water, and moisture from unpleasantly entering the gaiter and foot. Two long ventilation zippers along the legs and openings under the knees make Noorvik breathable and fresh during intense uphill efforts. Elastic waistband, belt loops, and removable suspenders make Noorvik adaptable and comfortable in every situation.
