PETZL SPIRIT

Lightweight and versatile carabiner for sport climbing

The SPIRIT carabiner is the benchmark for sport climbing and route work. The straight and bent gate designs optimize maneuvers. The Keylock system prevents accidental snagging during clipping and unclipping. Its standard size does not compromise its lightness; on the contrary, its excellent weight-to-performance ratio allows it to be used across various terrains: crags, long routes, and mountaineering. Available in two versions: straight gate and bent gate. The bent gate is available in four colors.

Ease of clipping and unclipping:

- Keylock system designed to prevent accidental snagging on gear loops, anchors, or rope,

- clipping and unclipping facilitated by the straight gate design for excellent grip,

- bent gate allows effective clipping of the rope,

- flat back of the carabiner for excellent stability in hand or pinch clipping.

Excellent weight-to-performance ratio: standard size carabiner, lightweight and compact: only 37 g.

Versatility of use:

- easy grip and clipping for sport climbing,

- lightness for long routes and mountain climbing,

- ease of use with gloves for mountaineering.

Available in two versions: straight gate (gray) and bent gate (gray, violet, red, or blue).
