PETZL QUARK ICE AXE

Versatile ice axe for technical mountaineering and ice climbing

QUARK is a versatile ice axe designed for technical mountaineering and ice climbing. Its balance and ICE pick blade allow secure placements on all types of ice. The TRIGREST and GRIPREST rests make it easy to handle and comfortable in all situations, providing a more effective grip for difficult moves. Fully modular, the QUARK ice axe easily adapts to various technical routes: snow gullies, couloirs, north faces, icefalls...

• Versatile ice axe:
  • curved shaft under the head and GRIPREST QUARK rest at the lower shaft to protect hands on icefalls,
  • sufficiently straight shaft with a steel tip for use as a walking axe,
  • hydroformed shaft for optimal grip in the middle of the shaft on snow gullies,
  • overmolded, dual-material grip for excellent hold and perfect insulation from the cold,
  • TRIGREST QUARK and GRIPREST QUARK rests to improve grip on difficult moves,
