PETZL IRVIS HYBRID - Hybrid Crampons

Choose lightness and durability! Designed for ski mountaineering and glacier approaches, the IRVIS HYBRID crampons feature a steel front section and an aluminum rear section to ensure an excellent balance of performance, technicality, and weight, allowing ice climbing. The flexible connection system between the front and rear parts makes them very compact for transport. The LEVERLOCK UNIVERSEL binding system adapts to all boots with a rear welt.

Description

Very light and ultra-compact:

- aluminum heel and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) CORD-TEC connection to optimize weight,

- compact front points and flexible connection system to enhance compactness when stored in the carrying case,

- maximum 570 g with the ANTISNOW anti-snowball system.

Designed for ski mountaineering and glacier approaches:

- steel front points allow climbing with front points on ice or progressing on rock,

- arrangement of 10 points to maximize stability on hard snow,

- two wide front points for good grip on snow,

- ANTISNOW anti-snowball system reduces snow buildup regardless of snow conditions,

- LEVERLOCK UNIVERSEL binding system fits all boots with a rear welt,

- tool-free length adjustment,

- supplied with CORD-TEC carrying case.

Complete modularity thanks to the ALPEN ADAPT system:

- front points, heels, cords, and binding system can be replaced independently,

- FIL or FIL FLEX binding system adapts to all front boot parts (with or without welt),

- compatible with all front bindings to fit most boots with or without front welt: narrow, flexible, telemark, snowboard boots...
