PETZL IRVIS

Lightweight, compact, and robust, the IRVIS crampons are designed for high-altitude hiking, classic mountaineering, and ski mountaineering. The arrangement of the 10 points ensures good stability for progressing on hard snow and grip on ice. They are available with two attachment systems to fit all boots, with or without a welt.

Description

Lightweight and compact:

- Maximum 790 g with the ANTISNOW anti-snowball system,

- compact front blocks optimized for small to medium-sized boots.

Designed for high-altitude hiking, classic mountaineering, and ski mountaineering:

- steel crampons for maximum durability,

- 10-point arrangement to maximize stability on hard snow and grip on ice,

- two wide front points to ensure good hold on snow,

- ANTISNOW anti-snowball system to reduce snow buildup regardless of snow conditions,

- tool-free length adjustment of the crampons,

- available with two attachment systems to fit all boots with or without a welt: LEVERLOCK UNIVERSEL for boots with a rear welt, FLEXLOCK for boots without front and rear welts.

Complete modularity thanks to the ALPEN ADAPT system:

- front points, bars, anti-snowball system, and attachment system can be replaced independently,

- compatible with all front bindings to fit most boots with or without a front welt: narrow, flexible, telemark boots, snowboard boots...
