Product description
Adjustable single positioning cord for climbing and mountaineering
Designed for climbers and mountaineers, the CONNECT ADJUST is an adjustable single cord intended for securing oneself at belay stations. The adjustable end allows you to set the optimal length for maneuvers. The slim connecting loop to the harness frees space on the belay loop. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the ADJUST blocker ensures simple and quick one-handed adjustment.
- Adjustable, compact single positioning cord for securing at belay stations in climbing and mountaineering:
- adjustable cord length from 15 to 95 cm,
- 9 mm dynamic rope cord to reduce the force transmitted to the user in case of a short fall (1),
- connecting loop made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) webbing sewn (Petzl patent) allowing installation on the harness with a compact clove hitch knot, reducing bulk on the belay loop and improving visibility during belay maneuvers.
- Ease of use:
- smooth and precise cord length adjustment thanks to the ergonomic shape of the ADJUST blocker,
- facilitated clipping and unclipping thanks to the TANGA rubber ring, which holds the carabiner correctly in the ADJUST blocker,
- designed for use with a locking carabiner of the Sm’D TWIST-LOCK type (not supplied),
- hole in the ADJUST blocker to pass a cord to facilitate unlocking under load.
(1) Use below the anchor point: positioning cords do not have energy absorbers. These cords must only be used if the fall factor risk is less than 1.
