Product description
Multi-purpose belay plate made of hot-forged aluminum, suitable for use with single, double, and twin ropes.
Its main applications include: self-locking belay for one or two climbing partners; double rope rappelling.
The special central rib acts as a pivot on the connector and allows rescuing two people even if secured to ropes of different diameters, either simultaneously or separately, because in case of a fall only the rope under tension locks while the other remains free to slide.
The GI-GI can be used in combination with a self-locking device and a foot loop for emergency ascents.
