The DMM Revolver is a carabiner featuring an integrated pulley to reduce rope friction. Popular in alpine rescue, this unique carabiner can be used as a rope-side quickdraw to decrease rope friction and facilitate smooth rope movement.
The DMM Revolver is exceptional for preserving rope wear generated during Top Rope climbing. When installed at the anchor, its pulley reduces rope friction by 30-40%, extending the sheath's lifespan even with intensive Top Rope use.
The Revolver also has an additional interesting function: it can be used as a pulley in emergency situations.
