Product description
The Securope® life line is an anchorage device that uses a flexible anchorage line suitable for structures and roofs with low or reduced load-bearing capacity, thanks to its deformability which allows it to dissipate the energy generated by a fall.
Securope® is designed for installation on metal roofs (minimum thickness 6/10 for steel and 10/10 for aluminum) using special support plates fixed with self-drilling screws and an adhesive sheath that restores the roof's waterproofing, or by means of clips suitable for the main types of sheet metal that allow installation without drilling holes.
The small size of the system components and its adaptability make the Securope® line particularly appreciated for use on buildings of historical and architectural value or on complex routes, such as the internal cornices of churches.
Fixed and intermediate elements can also be attached directly to reinforced concrete or steel supporting structures, and in case of a fall, the intermediate elements deform mechanically, absorbing part of the loads that would otherwise be transmitted to the structure.
An authorized maintenance technician will verify the system's integrity and restore any elements that have been engaged. The device can be used simultaneously by 4 operators and complies with the technical standard EN 795:2012 Type C and the technical specification CEN/TS 16415:2013; it is covered by a ten-year warranty and subject to annual periodic maintenance.
