Product description
The Safeaccess® rail is a versatile fall arrest device that uses different trolleys or baskets for restraint work, fall arrest, suspension, double rope work, or with baskets for one or two operators. Safeaccess® is an extruded aluminum alloy profile that ensures the product is lightweight, corrosion and weather resistant, and mechanically strong enough for various uses.
The rail is installed by fixing ceiling or wall supports to the structure, and for use as a fall arrest device, the operator must connect their PPE to the high-slide trolley. For suspension work, the fixing brackets should be positioned every 3 meters.
The anchoring device complies with various technical standards depending on the intended use: EN 795:1996 Class D, as a fall arrest device suitable for suspension work; EN 1808 "Suspended platforms at variable levels" for use with baskets. It also meets ATEX criteria for use in explosive environments, certified by TUV in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC and standards EN 13463-5:2007, EN 13463-1:2009 class II cat.
- It is also usable in zone 1 for explosive atmospheres based on dust and gas (group IIA, IIB, IIC).
