The Diasafe® life line is a flexible rope anchorage device designed for installation on green roofs and compliant with the EN 795:2012 type C technical standard. It is mounted on dead weights placed on the roof resting on a geotextile mat: the weight of the soil will hold the supports in place and provide the necessary resistance to allow the line to withstand the fall of an operator.
The supports consist of a steel base and a deformable body made of plastic material that keeps the cable at a height of about 32 cm. The metal body is covered by a reinforced fiberglass cone which, in case of a fall, collapses ensuring the stability of the system and keeping the 4-arm base intact.
The Diasafe® life line can be installed on flat roofs or with a maximum inclination of 5°, is certified for 1 operator, and is subject to annual inspection.
