Versatile guardrails designed to provide the suitable solution for any workplace exposed to the risk of falling from height, compliant with EN ISO 14122-3 and covered by a ten-year warranty.
Legislative Decree 81/08 generally prescribes the priority of collective protection measures over individual protection measures, while workplaces must comply with the expressly provided requirements, particularly regarding protections against falls.
The components of the Allukemi Sky™ guardrails are made of painted die-cast aluminum alloy, combining lightness, strength, and excellent corrosion resistance.
The posts are aluminum extrusions to be positioned at a distance of 150 cm, as declared in the Certificates of Conformity from the certifying body. They are available in straight, 30° inclined, or tiltable versions to reduce visual impact and must be inserted into base supports resting on the surface or fixed to the building.
The horizontal elements, also made of aluminum extrusions, complete the guardrail: the handrail must be placed at a height of at least 110 cm from the walking surface, as established by EN 14122-3, while the intermediate rail must be at a distance less than 50 cm both from the handrail and from the walking surface or toe board, if present.
The ends of the posts and horizontal rails are concealed and fixed with self-drilling screws and stainless steel grub screws in the T-joint elements at the top of the posts, in the base elements (either fixed or self-supporting), or at the joints for horizontal and vertical direction changes.
