SKYTAC Fall Arrest System
The SKYTAC fall arrest system allows safe climbing and descending on vertical structures without height or depth limitations. It is typically used on towers, chimneys, silos, piers and docks, poles, antenna supports, machinery, industrial installations (prefabricated sheds), buildings,
facades, wells, pools, aqueducts, and treatment plants.
The operator works safely wearing a harness attached to a gripping device (fall arrest trolley) that slides inside a fixed guide (rail). In case of a fall, the trolley immediately stops on the rail, preventing hazards.
Description
The SKYTAC fall arrest ladder consists of a hot-dip galvanized steel C-profile, 3mm thick, with rungs welded on the back.
The surface of the rungs is treated to
provide high anti-slip protection, ensuring the operator a safe climb and a comfortable, correct posture during ascent. On the sides, two edges face upwards to prevent feet from slipping outward.
The fall arrest distance of the SKYTAC system is extremely short and the impact force is contained, enhancing safety and protection for operators.
