AERE SEMI-MASK

The Aere semi-mask is produced in the Bergamo area using raw materials entirely MADE IN ITALY and employing an automated machine specifically designed and manufactured in Lombardy for the production of filtering semi-masks. Today, the Genesi Aere semi-mask SOITFFP2 COVID is born, one of the few PPE 100% Italian-made for protection against COVID-19, certified according to the EN149:2001+A1 (2009) standard.

The particular weave of the elastic and its extreme lightness make it ideal for use in all work activities where social distancing does not allow adequate protection from the virus: from offices to hospitals and from shops to factories.

SOITFFP2-COVID is a filtering semi-mask composed of 2 protective layers, ideal for respiratory protection against COVID-19.

For its design and certification, the specific document RFU PPE-R/02. 075 version 2, drafted by the Vertical Group of Notified Bodies to comply with the European Union Recommendations (2020/403 of March 13, 2020), was followed.

This document describes the technical solutions to be used for protection against COVID-19.

The Genesi Aere semi-mask has been tested and has successfully met the requirements of the specific document and is effectively a Category III PPE, compliant with the essential requirements of Regulation 2016/425 according to the recommendations of document RFU PPE-R/02.075 Version 2 and is CE marked 0068.

As required by the WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations for this specific use, the nominal protection factor provided by Genesi Aere is equivalent to a nominal protection factor FFP2 defined in EN 149:2001+A1:2009.

The Genesi Aere semi-mask is foldable and designed to ensure maximum respiratory comfort and ease of wear even for operators not accustomed to using respiratory protective devices. Aere is also individually packaged during production in a sealed plastic bag to ensure maximum hygiene and prevent contamination from external agents.
