Product description
The SPIN L1D pulley, which can be opened even when positioned on the anchor, is designed to be used in combination with a descender to simplify the installation for heavy load deviation. The faceted pulley has a unique rotation direction for excellent lifting efficiency and to increase friction zones with the rope for additional braking action during descent. Maneuvers are facilitated by the swivel that allows the pulley to be oriented under load and to connect carabiners, ropes, or slings directly.
The triple-action opening of the mobile flange is easy and quick, even with gloves. It is possible to install the rope while the device is connected to the anchor. The faceted pulley has a unique rotation direction for excellent lifting efficiency and to increase friction zones with the rope for additional braking action during heavy load descent. The pulley allows installation for heavy load deviation when used with a descender.
• Designed to be used with a descender to simplify installation for heavy load deviation or recovery systems in work at height and rescue: - triple-action opening of the mobile flange, easy and quick, even with gloves, - possibility to install the rope while the device is connected to the anchor, - red visual indicator when the mobile flange is not locked, - specific flange design that protects the rope passage and allows the use of a Prusik self-locking knot in an anti-return system. • Optimized lifting efficiency and comfort during descent: faceted pulley with a unique rotation direction for excellent lifting efficiency and increased friction zones with the rope for additional braking action during heavy load descent (more information in the information note and technical advice on www.petzl.com). • Facilitated maneuvers: - swivel that allows orienting the pulley under load, - swivel that can accommodate up to three carabiners and allows the use of ropes and slings to facilitate maneuvers.
