To meet your uses and intensive work conditions, or simply for a longer-lasting solution, RIG is also available in a repairable version.
Compact descender for rope work, designed for experienced users
Key points: • Designed for experienced rope access and technical rescue users. • Ease of use:
- simple and quick rope installation thanks to guides and markings,
- ergonomic handle design for good grip and excellent descent control,
- easy bypassing of rope friction thanks to the openable movable flange allowing the device to remain attached to the harness,
- device equipped with AUTO-LOCK system enabling positioning at the worksite without using the handle or creating a locking key.
- automatic handle return to resting position when the rope is removed, reducing the risk of accidental snagging when carrying the descender on the harness. • Versatility:
- two descent modes possible: on the flange or in the V-groove, equipped with braking points for better descent control and reduced rope twisting,
- device usable on the harness or anchor point,
- once the rope is locked, short ascents can be made without using the handle, simply by retrieving the rope,
- usable for belaying the lead climber with climbing technique. • Durability and repair:
- reinforcement protection on the rope friction area protects the movable flange from premature wear,
- cam shape improves rope clamping, reducing device wear,
- for a more durable solution or to meet intensive work conditions, RIG is available in a repairable version (D021BA00 / D021BA01): the cam and pin can be replaced using the repair kit (sold separately, code D021CA00).
