PETZL AVAO FAST (European Version)

The AVAO FAST harness is specifically designed for workers at height. Its design meets the specific requirements for work positioning and rope descent. Preformed padding and the semi-rigid structure of the waistbelt and leg loops ensure comfort during use. The waistbelt, with metal side attachment points, gear loops, and tool holders, allows organization of all necessary equipment for a workday. Adjustment is simple and quick thanks to DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and FAST openable buckles.

Description

Comfortable construction:

- shoulder straps separated from the neck reduce chafing,

- thin, sliding straps allow greater freedom and ease of movement,

- all contact areas—shoulder straps, waistbelt, and leg loops—feature preformed padding covered with breathable fabric, enabling comfortable movement and work,

- the semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops ensure a perfect fit and secure hold of the harness on the user’s body,

- metal side attachment points fold away to prevent accidental snagging when not in use.

- the back of the leg loops includes elastic straps (replaceable - available as accessory) to maintain proper fit both while walking and suspended.

Comfortable and quick adjustment:

- adjustment is comfortable, simple, and fast thanks to DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the shoulder straps and waistbelt and FAST openable buckles on the leg loops,

- anti-slip elements installed on the DOUBLEBACK buckles maintain correct adjustment throughout all work phases.

Design facilitating transport and equipment organization:

- metal ventral D-ring equipped with connection points for installing a PODIUM or LITEPOD seat,

- ventral connection point with a dedicated textile loop allowing installation of a lanyard via a RING OPEN connection ring,

- two metal side attachment points for connecting a double positioning lanyard,

- five preformed gear loops with protective sheath,

- two loops for CARITOOL gear holder or INTERFAST connection element.

Specifications

Ventral attachment point: connection of a descender, a single-use positioning lanyard, a seat on the ventral D-ring, and a lanyard via a RING OPEN connected to the textile connection point.

Side attachment points: connection of a double-use positioning lanyard.

Sternal attachment point: connection of a fall arrest system.

Dorsal attachment point: connection of a fall arrest system.

Attachment point on the back of the waistbelt: connection of a restraint lanyard.
