The Aequilibrium ST GTX is a lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for via ferratas, trekking, glacier crossings, and mixed terrain. Maximum comfort is ensured by the integrated gusseted tongue and soft snow gaiter on the collar. Exceptional walkability is provided by the innovative Double Heel™ construction: the pronounced dual rear cleats increase braking effect on descents and allow smoother roll-off, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness harmonize thanks to the new sole/midsole package with an external Rubber Guard™ shell and internal foam material for enhanced cushioning and reduced rubber layers. The ergonomic shape is snug and precise with integrated TPU shells reinforcing the toe and heel. The 3D Flex System Evo™ directional joint with shaped malleolus and abrasion-resistant protection offers better foot placement control and perfect ankle mobility. The lace protection gaiter prevents chafing. The semi-cramponable midsole and Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs provide superior adaptability on hard rock surfaces.
