Product description
Positioning cord designed for caving, canyoning, and rescue activities, made from EN892 dynamic rope with a 10mm diameter, featuring sewn loops and rubber ends; available in four lengths for customized assembly of the three branches of the lanyard.
The Trilonge is the factory-made and EN 566:06, EN 354:10, EN 795/B:12 certified version of a widely used tool that until now was handcrafted by the end user.
Features:
• Choice of 4 lengths (170 cm, 190 cm, 210 cm, 300 cm) depending on user needs and stature
• Sewn terminations with contrasting color indicator for immediate wear verification
• Cord lengths designed for preparing the lanyard with 3 attachment points (short, medium, long) using the trilonge knot
• Rope sheath highly resistant to abrasion for use in particularly harsh environments
• Integrated rubber ends for correct and stable positioning of carabiners at the sewn terminations
Notes on the “Trilonge” knot
Independent tests have shown that this knot, when properly tied, provides the Trilonge with good energy absorption capabilities from a fall, significantly superior to the friction guide knot. This translates into greater safety in case of a fall where, with fall factors equal to 1, the arrest force with a 100kg mass remains below the threshold for permanent injuries.
