Harken Industrial has developed the R27 Long Span rail (INR27. LS) as an alternative to the low-profile R27 rail system.
The R27LS system offers the same ball-bearing trolleys as the R27 but features a more robust profile that allows for longer spans without compromising strength. Support brackets are available in various styles to facilitate installation and mounting on different surface types and configurations.
It can be used both as fall protection and for rope access (human suspension). The system is available with natural anodizing.
Other colors are available on request. The longer distance between attachment points reduces installation costs: 3m spacing for fall protection; up to 1.
5m for rope access.

The R27 Long Span Access Rail system is independently tested. The rails comply with EN795:2012 type D, also meet ANSI Z359, and conform to OSHA standards.
The trolleys are CE certified according to EN795:2012 type B, also meet ANSI Z359, and conform to OSHA. For CE certification, these must be used in combination with the CE certified R27 Long Span Access Rail system.
