Product description
The innovative LokHead™ Winch Kit - NFPA Version meets the NFPA 1983 “T” certification requirements (National Fire Protection Association Standard on Life Safety Rope and Equipment for Emergency Services). This tool is a winch for moving materials and personnel and can be used in portable or fixed mode, with fiber ropes of unlimited length.
The braking system allows safe use of the winch and prevents accidental rope release. It is perfect for temporary or permanent use.
Harken Industrial supplies the LokHead with its accessories in a heavy-duty case for safe transport and quick deployment. The kit includes: a LokHead winch with reversible plate, a water-resistant transport case, a winch handle, a tripod adapter with backplate, a CMC™ Variable Anchor sling, and two CMC ProSeries® carabiners.
The sling and carabiners also meet NFPA standards. Spare parts are available from any Harken Industrial dealer.
The winch has a simple structure, requires no lubrication, and can be rinsed with water.
Manual Use: The LokHead can be operated manually with the supplied B10AL handle.
Ergonomic: Easy to install and efficient, the LokHead reduces fatigue and optimizes operator strength. It offers two gear ratios: 13.5:1 for low load/high speed and 39.9:1 for high load/low speed applications.
Versatile: The winch is designed for use with textile ropes 10-12.7 mm in diameter and unlimited length.
Lightweight: The LokHead winch and mounting plates can be integrated into a rescue/lifting system without significantly increasing overall weight.
Reliable: The braking system controls descent and protects operators from accidental falls. The cover protecting the sheaves prevents accidental rope release from the winch.
