Watch Setup
To fully utilize the features of the Forerunner®, complete these steps.
Press and hold LIGHT to turn on the watch (Overview). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup.
During initial setup, you can pair your smartphone with the watch to receive notifications, sync activities, and more (Phone Pairing). If upgrading from a compatible watch, you can migrate watch settings, saved routes, and more when pairing the new Forerunner watch with your smartphone.
