Giant is the innovative multifunctional descender, developed to meet the demands of the most exacting rope access specialists and technical rescue professionals.
The patented operating mechanism, the unmatched robustness of the hot-forged aluminum alloy structure, and the ergonomic shape of the lever give Giant exceptional control even under heavy loads, up to 250 kg/two people.
Besides being a descender for rope access and rescue, Giant is certified and can also be used as a fall arrest device (e.g., during rope transitions), as an ascender characterized by great smoothness, and as a belay device for climbing.
The operating lever features:

an anti-panic safety system that stops the descent if excessive pressure is applied by the user;

an additional gradual locking function, perfect for pause phases during descent.
A button allows direct action on the cam for quick rope movement in low or no load situations.
Thanks to the openable flange with safety lever, the rope can be inserted without detaching the carabiner.
The large attachment hole allows the insertion of a second carabiner to make the two flanges non-openable. The circular rope housing, combined with clear internal and external markings, allows simple and intuitive installation.
Giant is the only rope device to have obtained such a high number of certifications:
