Compact and lightweight self-braking descender for rope access and rescue, suitable for semi-static ropes from 10 to 11 mm.
Lever with anti-panic locking function, providing unparalleled safety for all users.
Body and lever made of robust forged aluminum alloy, mechanical parts in micro-cast stainless steel.
Internal mechanism and locking cam designed for gentle action on the rope, preventing premature wear and allowing absorption of light shocks through slight rope slippage inside the device.
Cam equipped with an extended trigger to allow quick rope movement in low or no load situations.
Druid is also perfect for ascending, thanks to excellent rope sliding. Small ring for attaching a safety cord.
Multiple certifications obtained:
- EN 12841/C as a descender for semi-static ropes from 10.5 to 11 mm for persons up to 150 kg, usable in rescue situations up to 200 kg;
- EN 341/2A as an emergency descent device on single rope, for persons up to 120 kg and semi-static rope of 11 mm (Iridium 11 mm);
- EN 15151-1 for use in progression on structures from below with mountaineering technique through dynamic ropes from 8.9 to 11 mm.
UPDATE 2026: Equipped with NFC TRACK chip for digital identification and aluminum alloy parts finished with matte hard anodizing for greater abrasion resistance. Maximum user weight for EN 12841/C standard increased to 150 kg.
