FABA AL-D GUIDED FALL ARREST SLIDER The fall arrester Faba AL-D is an integral part of the fall protection system FABA A12 / AL2 on a rigid anchor line in accordance with EN 353/1. The model AT-D is used only without traction and if the spaces behind the person going up are very narrow. It is designed and may only be used as personal protective equipment. It must not be used for different applications, for example as a material loads holder or as a stop for weights! The operator of the fall protection system must ensure that the fall arrester belongs to the user in person and that is used by him in accordance with these instructions. After use, the fall arrester must not be left attached to the fall protection system. The fall protection system can only be used with full-body harnesses that comply with the European standard EN 361, and which are provided with the fall arrester D-ring. Warning: Fall arrest slider FABA AL_D must always be inserted in the ring D arrester harness all body! The fall arrester, properly used in conjunction with a full-body harness, protects the user against falls during ascent and descent. When working, at one point or along the ski trail, the user must always use an additional safety lanyard according to EN 354 or make a strap from the pole according to EN 358. The hang must be anchored to the attachment points (eg. anchor brackets of ladder) of sufficient strength able to withstand the impact of a fall. Apply this expedient also for people who stop on a rest platform. The hang, must be kept as short as possible to reduce the risk of a fall. A fall arrester according to EN 353/1 should be used only by people who: • Have been trained or are otherwise competent • They are under the direct supervision of a person trained or competent. Warning - risk of fatal injury! The carabiner must be entered directly in the ring D on the front of the harness. This warning applies as much use as vertical and horizontal orientations of systems according to EN 353/1.
