POWER SEAT COMPACT ELECTRIC The PowerSeat Compact offers the user the versatility of a lightweight portable winch that can be used as a mechanical ascender for work at height, rescue & winching applications. The Powerseat Compact has been developed in response to our customers, particularly in the Rescue and Utility Winching / Lifting markets. The primary advantage the PowerSeat Compact offers is the short stem allowing the operator to get closer to the anchorage point. BrakeBrake The brake system offers complete security against free fall. The encapsulating jaw cover protects against snagging fingers and clothing in the winch.Speed controlSpeed control The unit is operated using a fail-safe dead man’s switch to control ascent speed, up to 14 m/min(45.9 ft/min). Strength an Reliability Stainless steel load-carrying gears and pins provide strength and durability. Sealed gearbox and high-load ball bearings reduce friction under load, are corrosion resistant, and do not require lubrication and roller to reduce friction and maximize reliability. Certification The Harken PowerSeat electric version is CE certified and complies with the essential requirements defined by the 2006/42/CE Machinery Directive, 2004/108/CE Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (and independently verified by Bureau Veritas).
